New series resin kit: 8701 KAMAZ
The first prototypes of the KaMAZ trucks were built in a new
factory in the year 1970. The completely new heavy three-axis
truck, received the name KaMAZ 5320. Following the army
requirements, the designers of the KaMAZ automobile factory devised
the reconstruction of the existing civilian KaMAZ 5320 in the year
1980. The new KaMAZ, which received the name KaMAZ 4310,
underwent a number of modi fi cations which give it great terrain
capabilities.
KaMAZ 4310 has a five-speed gearbox, multi-plate clutch, twospeed
axle gearbox and an inter-axle differential with locking. All axles are
driven. The steering gear is equipped with a hydraulic booster. The
KaMAZ 4310 also has central regulation of tire pressure. The pressure
can be adjusted in the range of 0,7 to 3,0 Atm. The type 740 engine is
an eight-cylinder diesel with a V arrangement of cylinders and
a cylinder displa cement of 10,850 ccm.
The KaMAZ truck has whole range of attachments and modi fications.
The millitary towing vehicle 4410, box-van truck 43105, in civilian
versions e.g. tipper truck 5511 or towing vehicle 5410. The KaMAZ
4310 and its versions is one of the most widespread army as well as
civilian trucks of the present-day Russia and the countries of the
former Soviet Union.
